Description
This collection of nearly 1400 single crystal x-ray diffraction spectra were recorded on a Bruker Apex X8 single crystal diffractometer.
A key feature of this library is the availability of matching Raman spectra and high quality sample images. The identity of most materials was confirmed using a combination of XRD and Raman spectroscopy and an electron microprobe.
Additional data includes a detailed bibliography related to each mineral and links to a 3D chemical structure on the website of the American Mineralogical Society. These data are available from Fiveash Data Management, Inc. under an exclusive agreement with the University of Arizona.
